Vanthaan Vendraan audio on July 21

Jeeva’s next outing Vanthaan Vendraan audio is going to hit the stores on July 21st, 2011. Earlier the makers of Vanthaan Vendraan have planned to launch the audio on June 12th but didn’t happen due to some official reasons.

Surprisingly July 21st happens to be Kannan’s birthday the director of the film. The team is happy to launch the audio on the same date as it would be a great coincidence. Mani Ratnam, Shankar, and Bala will be the guests of honor of the event. Kannan is a former associate of Mani Ratnam and he wants his mentor to impress with Vanthaan Vendraan. The film stars Jeeva, Taapsee, Nandha, Oviya, Simran and Santhanam in the lead roles.

Music is by Thaman and he had scored some soothing and peppy tuned for this album. The technical team consists of P. G. Muthiah for Cinematography and V. T. Vijayan for Editing.

Santhanam’s comedy rocks in Deiva Thirumagal!

The combination scenes of Santhanam and Vikram are going to stand as a highlighting factor in Deiva Thirumagal.
The comedy scenes of the film have come down very well as Santhanam has come out with different type of comedy. Santhanam will be pulled down by the tricks of Vikram as he has the mind of a five year old. The comedy is designed in a new way where we can find difference with Santhanam’s earlier comedy. The director brings a new twist in the in the scenes between Vikram, Santhanam and Anushka who plays the lawyer in the film.
All these sequences play a important role for the film’s progress. The film’s comedy will be talked by everyone once the film hits the screens.
The film is releasing big in nearly 250 screens by UTV Motion pictures on July 15th, 2011.

Santhanam makes fun of Udhayanidhi Stalin & Rajesh

Santhanam has become the close buddy of everyone. Right from Superstar Rajnikanth to the newbie Arulnidhi, he has been favorite darling. The comedy actor has contributed a lot to the grand success of director Rajesh’s previous movies ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’. The duo has come together for the third time in ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Hansika Motwani in lead roles.
Recently while attending the awards ceremony, director Rajesh jocularly added, “I am the one writing dialogues and he gets all honors. I am really puzzled. But I wish Santhanam gets ‘Best Comedy Actor 2011’ for ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ and Udhayanidhi Stalin for ‘Best New Face Award 2011’…”
As director Rajesh was making this statement, Santhanam had his turn pulling their legs saying, “Now both of you must hug for the emotional touch.”
No one could resist the laughter-riot that lasted nearly for 15minutes as VTV Ganesh had his punch from Santhanam.

Bharath attempts a full-length comedy in ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’

Actor Bharath’s upcoming film would be ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’ produced by Dr. V. Ramadoss, an NRI who has been ranked among the ‘top 50’ among the Indians residing away from the country.  Dr. Ramadoss has also been conferred the prestigious award of ‘Best NRI’ by none other than Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The film pits model Reema Kallingal opposite Bharath in her debut film in Tamil as heroine.  The film has been directed by G.N.R. Kumaravel. The film features Santhanam, who is being signed up in every other film as the friend of the hero, right from Vishal to Shanthanu.

Talking about his film, Bharath says, “In the past few years, I have done quite a few action films in ‘Aarumugam’, ‘Pazhani’ and ‘Tiruthani’ (the last one is yet to release, though).  In the beginning of this year, I was offered ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’, a script which would make the audience laugh aloud forgetting all their worries.
“The story is about the romantic life of a youth who dreams of visiting the U.S. and narrates in detail the consequences of his love affair.  He does encounter problems in his love and overcomes it in his own style,” says Bharath, who also revealed that it wasn’t the leading pair who is shown to be ‘getting too close’ with each other coveringboth their faces with a duppatta!
He also added that Reema is a very promising ‘find’ and predicted her to have a long innings in Kollywood.  He likened Reema to many Hollywood heroines who look jaded in the opening sequence of a film but appear to be getting beautiful with every progressing frame of the film!  Wonder what he meant to convey?
