Simbu delighted about Gautham Menon’s next

It was Gautham Vasudev Menon who changed the image of Simbu with Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. After the release of the film Simbu’s image changed overnight and he turned out to be the heartthrob of many young girls.

A few days if recalled there were some reports stating that Simbu is joining hands with Gautham Menon for the sequel of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. But Simbu has given a different answer saying that it is the sequel of VTV.  It was the actor who confirmed that he is doing the sequel of VTV a few days back.

Simbu says “I am not sure whether it is the sequel to VTV or a new script. But I am happy to join Gautham once again. Gautham has his own style of making a film and he knows the pulse of the youth very well”.

Simbu is currently busy working for three projects simultaneously. His projects include Vettai Mannan, Podaa Podi and Osthi. “Currently I am doing three projects and I am happy to be apart of interesting projects” Simbu says and signs off.

It is well known that Silambarasan is currently busy shooting for Osthi the remake of Bollywood blockbuster film Dabangg. To look picture perfect in the role of a cop Simbu is hitting the gym on regular basis. He is also taking some tips and suggestions form Salman Khan for maintaining his physique and also about the role played by him.

Simbu is not only an actor but he is also a good writer and singer too. Simbu has penned a song and also rendered his vocals for the song written by him for Osthi. It is believed that the song will be dedicated to all the wives as the lyrics written by Simbu suggest so. All the songs sung by Simbu so far turned out to be chartbusters and this song is also expected to join the list of his super hit songs.

Simbu is also learning the accent of Tirunelveli dialect as Salman has delivered the dialogues in Bihari slang in the original version. By considering all aspects it looks like Osthi will strike gold at the box office as the team is leaving no stone unturned.

Osthi features Richa as Simbu’s love interest while Jithan Ramesh plays his younger brother, Revathi, VTV Ganesh, Nizhalgal Ravi play other pivotal roles. Thaman is scoring the music for this action packed entertainer.

Actor Simbu is the latest busy-bee in Kollywood as the actor is continuously involved in more projects. The actor completed first schedule of ‘Vettai Mannan’ that was held in Chennai. He has now taken a break from the project and has got into ‘Osthi’ that will go on a full-stretch for next three months.

According to the sources, major portions of the film will be shot in backdrops of beautiful city of Mysore. Superstar Rajnikanth has been one amongst the very few actors, who often chooses to have at least a sequence in film at the backdrops of Mysore as he feels it as a lucky factor.

Since ‘Osthi’ has a story taking place in rural area, the makers have found Mysore to be an apt place.
