Kareena Kapoor becomes Kareena 'Karpooram' in Tamil
Kareena Kapoor has gone the extra mile for her upcoming Hindi film Ra.One. The Bollywood actress' efforts could surely help her to increase her fan base in Tamil Nadu! Well, the Kapoor gal has crooned a few Tamil lines for a song in her forthcoming Bollywood movie.
The actress has lent her voice for the item song, 'Chammak challo...' along with international singer Akon. The special number, which was recently released, has some Tamil lines like 'Mayanga maattiya...' in the second stanza.
Welcoming Kareena's attempt, actor Siddharth tweeted, “Kareena singing in Tamil...let's call her Kareena 'Karpooram' shall we. Mayanga mattiya? That's a reference to the Akon's song from Ra.One... Check it out!”
The song, which is written by Vishal Dadlani, reportedly has South Indian backdrop and has some classical steps. It is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer sc-fi Ra.One is hitting the screens on October 26, 2011. It is directed by Anubhav Sinha and has Vishal-Shekhar's music.

Imran and Kareena’s film to release days before V- day
Director Shakun Batra and producer Karan Johar have decided to release their untitled film with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead days before Valentine’s Day thus giving a build up to the occasion.
The film, which was initially titled as Short Term Shaadi was slated to release during October but with Kareena having Ra.One in the same month, the makers of the film decided it’s better to postpone it to some other month before deciding February 2012..
Add to it, Imran’s Meri Brother Ki Dulhan with YRF is also releasing in September considering he had a recent release Delhi Belly. So with two big stars, Dharma thought that it is better that audience will have a fresh look of theirs in 2012 before deciding to postpone it to February coinciding with days before V- Day.
And this would be the first time that both Kareena and Imran will have a release on the eve of Valentine’s Day. While Imran is happy that he’s got some breather, Karan Johar is going through a title problem. Hope you have a title pretty soon Karan.

Saif and I are together: Kareena Kapoor
Tired with rumours of her breakup with beau Saif Ali Khan, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor set the records straight by saying all is well in her love life.
“There is nothing to clarify. It’s (the rumours) not true at all. We are together,” Kareena, dressed in a red knee length dress, told reporters at an event to launch the new range of Sony Vaio laptops.
When she was probed about her marriage, she didn’t give a definite answer.
“Whenever we decide to get married, there will be an official announcement and everyone will know,” said the 30-year-old.
Kareena, who was earlier dating Shahid Kapoor, is in a relationship with Saif since 2007. It was reported that the two got close during the shooting of their film “Tashan”
