GV Prakash featuring Sonu Nigam on Saguni

GV Prakash is riding high on a success wave. With soulful tunes the young music director has secured a firm and comfortable niche in the hearts of music lovers. The music of 'Mayakkam Enna' which released recently is a success with the music lovers in the state. GV has made Dhanush croon a song in the film which has sure swept the youth of the state and left the youth yearning for more.

Prakash is, at the moment, readying the music bytes for 'Saguni' which sees Karthi Sivakumar and Pranitha in the lead roles. GV Prakash has the credit of signing various singers belonging to different genres for his film albums. This time there are reports that he is done with a song featuring Sonu Nigam. The recording is believed to have taken place in Mumbai.

'Saguni' is a political satire with a number of twists and turns as well as with a good dose of comedy. The film is a maiden product of Shankar Dayal Sharma who will be joining the directorial stream in Tamil cinema with this film. GV is taking special care that the music of 'Saguni' out shines the music album he did for 'Aayirathil Oruvan,' a film were Karthi and GV worked together in previously.

It might be noted that a single audio song from GV'S music album of 'Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal' was launched recently. The song is slowly catching up with the youngsters. This film also has lyricist Thamarai penning the lyrics for the music director for the first time ever. Thamarai's association with GV's uncle ARR has churned out chartbusters. We hope GV will be able to repeat the trend in his music albums too!

Mayakkam Enna audio launched at Radio Mirchi

 Dhanush- Richa starrer Mayakkam Enna was launched at Radio Mirchi, Chennai on 19 Sep.

The lead cast Dhanush, Richa, Sundar, director Selvaraghavan; his wife Gitanjali Selvaraghavan and music composer GV Prakash was present for the audio launch event. GV has given six songs for the album which are sung by Naresh Iyer, Saindhavi, GV Prakash, Dhanush, Selvaraghavan and Harish Raghavendra. This album will be Gemini Audio’s first foray into film music.

Music director GV Prakash says “The music is peppy and I’m sure the youth will fall in love with the album. Dhanush and Selva has written the lyrics and a couple of them has been sung by the brothers.”

Meanwhile, after the audio launch Gitanjali Selva had tweeted- “Its time!!! Audio in stores! If you like it tell your friends, if u don't like it tell your enemies ;-) But like it or not... Say no to piracy!”

GV Prakash happy for MUK with Thamarai

One of the most happening music directors of Kollywood GV Prakash is all happy that his next offering Mayakkam Enna music is going to hit the stores on tommorrow (Sep 19)

Meanwhile he is also looking forward for the single track release of Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (MUK) which is set to release shortly. He is very happy for the tracks of Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (MUK) as he joined lyricist Thamarai for the first time in his career. The teaser trailer of the film is released along with Vandhan Vendraan.

GV Prakash says “Thamarai has written all the songs in this album and all the songs are very meaningful. I can assure that they will turn as hits”.

He is moreover very happy as director Vijay has retained him for his project which has Vikram in the lead role.
