Akshay becomes Captain in Hindi Ramana
A couple of days ago we have come across an update that Director Murugadoss is in plans of remaking his film Ramana in Hindi.
Now latest buzz is that Murugadoss is in plans of going to make Ramanna in Hindi for with Akshay Kumar as hero, producer by Vipul Shah. The director has recently met Akshay and has discussed the script with him. The actor was thoroughly impressed with Murugadoss narration as it suits the star’s image. The idea of the Hindi remake of Ramana started when AR Murgadoss sat on a hunger strike in support of Anna Hazare in Chennai. It was then the director hinted that he is going to remake his Vijayakanth starrer Ramanna in Hindi.
Ramana is a film which deals with the theme eradication of corruption. Murugadoss has later remade the same film in Telugu as Tagore with Chiranjeevi in the lead and then in Kannada as Vishnu Sena with Vishnuvardhan (actor) in the lead role.
The shoot of the Hindi version start next year once the director’s completes his next film with Vijay, which is slated for summer 2012 release.
It is well known that the Bollywood stars are eyeing in South Indian films and this has been proved with the recent remakes of Kaavalan, Uthamaputhiran and Kanchana.

Imran and Kareena’s film to release days before V- day
Director Shakun Batra and producer Karan Johar have decided to release their untitled film with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead days before Valentine’s Day thus giving a build up to the occasion.
The film, which was initially titled as Short Term Shaadi was slated to release during October but with Kareena having Ra.One in the same month, the makers of the film decided it’s better to postpone it to some other month before deciding February 2012..
Add to it, Imran’s Meri Brother Ki Dulhan with YRF is also releasing in September considering he had a recent release Delhi Belly. So with two big stars, Dharma thought that it is better that audience will have a fresh look of theirs in 2012 before deciding to postpone it to February coinciding with days before V- Day.
And this would be the first time that both Kareena and Imran will have a release on the eve of Valentine’s Day. While Imran is happy that he’s got some breather, Karan Johar is going through a title problem. Hope you have a title pretty soon Karan.

Don 2 trailer to hit this Friday
Shah Rukh Khan’s return to Don avatar after five years is set to have its first theatrical promo with the prints of his good friend, Hrithik Roshan starrer Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara this Friday.
Although Farhan’s partner and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani never though of having a sequel to Don, it is when Ameet (Mehta) and Amrish (Shah) met Farhan with an interesting storyline before they developed it to a full fledged story.
Don 2, which flagged off last October comprises of high-speed action sequences, special effects with European and Malaysian backdrops.
Two new characters in the form of Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor are added in the sequel while Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri from the original will reprieve their roles in the sequel.
Don 2 with SRK sporting a new look will be releasing on December 23. And if everything goes well, Farhan is in plans to make Don 3 too.

Ajay’s body is superb: Salman Khan
Both Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn are known to be good friends in Bollywood and always shared a mutual admiration society. The duo also acted together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and London Dreams.
Salman is known to be a fitness fanatic in the industry and always had his view on his colleagues’ fitness methods. But after watching Ajay’s body in Singham, the actor was ecstatic and had this to say on his twitter page; Oye teri !!! Baap re baap. Superb ajay’s body is looking . Too good.
Ajay’s trainer Prashant Saawan played a major role in Ajay getting the concerned look for Singham. The actor trained with Prashant for three months to get lean and muscular look apart from following a high-protein low-carb diet.
Singham under Rohit Shetty’s direction is slated to hit theatres on 22 July.

Gossips – Salman gets Mughda what she deserves
Salman Khan is known to do this and he proved it again by helping out model turned actor Mughda Godse over some monetary issues.
Apparently the news goes like this; Percept Picture Company owes Mughda a sum to Rs 6 lakhs to be paid for the film Jail. But the money wasn’t cleared though Mughda had made many calls to the company.
But during a recent celebrity cricket match, Mughda bumped into Salman Khan. Thinking it was the right opportunity she said the problem to Salman. Percept’s head honcho Shailendra Singh with whom Salman has good relations was at the same match. Salman immediately walked to him and asked why the company didn’t paid money to her?
So as everyone knows when Salman Khan asks no one tells no to him, immediately Shailendra made sure that the company clears her dues and with in no time they did so. Mughda was all praises for the Khan.

Saif and I are together: Kareena Kapoor
Tired with rumours of her breakup with beau Saif Ali Khan, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor set the records straight by saying all is well in her love life.
“There is nothing to clarify. It’s (the rumours) not true at all. We are together,” Kareena, dressed in a red knee length dress, told reporters at an event to launch the new range of Sony Vaio laptops.
When she was probed about her marriage, she didn’t give a definite answer.
“Whenever we decide to get married, there will be an official announcement and everyone will know,” said the 30-year-old.
Kareena, who was earlier dating Shahid Kapoor, is in a relationship with Saif since 2007. It was reported that the two got close during the shooting of their film “Tashan”

Way2movies had earlier reported that the Dabangg star Salman Khan will join the sets of Osthi, Tamil remake, to give some tips & suggestions for Simbu for the film. But after that there is no buzz regarding Salman meeting up Simbu. However certain media reports revealed that Salman has denied meeting Simbu as he is busy with his back to back schedules.
Simbu has come out with a clarification stating that, Salman has not refused to meet him but it was of his busy schedules he was unable to make up to the sets of Osthi. In fact the team of Osthi is plans of inviting the ace Bollywood star for the audio launch of the film. It can be noted here that his brother Arbazz Khan, the producer of Dabangg has graced the movie launch of Osthi.
Salman has recently visited Chennai for the audio launch of Markandeyan movie and Osthi will mark his next visit to Chennai.
Dharani is directing the film while Gopinath is going to handle the camera. Thaman is scoring the music for this action entertainer.
It looks like this is going to be a grand surprise during the audio launch isn’t it?
