Harris on the edge : Harris Jeyaraj Concert at Mayajaal Live on Vijay TV

After Yuvan Shankar Raja, it will be now Harris Jeyaraj to perform musical show in Chennai. The more excitement here is that Vijay TV will telecast the show live. Yes, you heard it right, LIVE. It will be at the Mayajal and biggest stage in the world with 3D experience and a view of 270 degrees. The show is scheduled on October 2nd at 7 PM. Looks like with this show Harris Jayaraj is all set to create some world records in music and live stage show.

7aam Arivu - mix of history, research and medicine

Director AR Murugadoss is proud of his forthcoming film '7aum Arivu', which he says is a mix of history, research and medicine. "I feel proud to make such a film. And am sure the audience too would feel so after watching it," says the 'Dheena' and 'Ghajini' director.

"Tamils were smarter those days and they were capable of doing things which were dismissed as impossible by others. For example, Bodhi Dharma, a martial arts exponent from Kanchipuram, is still worshipped in China," Murugadoss says.

Confirming that the film would feature Suriya in multiple roles, the director says the actor's dedication and hard work in '7aum Arivu' would fetch him rich praises. "He is a director's actor. He would always exceed our expectations. Suriya is superb," Murugadoss says.

Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin on Red Giant Movies banner, music of the film, composed by Harris Jayaraj, was launched in Chennai a couple of days ago. Initial reports suggest that the songs from '7aum Arivu' shot up the charts.

7am Arivu audio launched with glitz and glamour [Pics]

Surya and Shruti Hassan starrer much-awaited 7 Aum Arivu was released yesterday evening at the Chennai Trade Centre. Director KS Ravikumar, actor Dhanush and Harris Jayaraj unveiled the music of the album.

As expected, it turned out to be an evening of glitz and glamour. The who's who of the Tamil film industry including Surya, Shruti Hassan, Harris Jayaraj, AR Murugadoss, Dhayanidhi Alagiri, Karthi, Sivakumar, AL Vijay, Udhayanidhi Stalin Johnny Tri Nguyen and attended music launch of 7 Aum Arivu.

Isha Sharvani, Abhinaya, Rukmini Vijayakumar and many others added colours to the music launch function through their performances. Harris Jayaraj compositional audio has six songs for which Madhan Karky, Na Muthukumar P.Vijay and Kabilan have penned the lyrics.

Harris Jayaraj Confirms Selva's Irandam Ulagam

Here is some big news about Selvaraghavan's film Irandam Ulagam (as we said earlier).

It is well known that the film has Arya and Anushka in the lead roles and now a person is going to join the list of the cast and crew. Yes, it was a month ago Selvaraghavan had a confidential meeting with music director Harris Jayraj. The reason for Selva approaching Harris is to ask him to score music for his film Irandam Ulagam. This was revealed by Harris Jayraj at a press meet in Coimbatore.  He has confirmed that he is going to score tunes for Irandam Ulagam.  Earlier Selva joined hands with Yuvan Shankar Raja and GV Prakash.

Harris Jayaraj 'On the edge' first look & Schedules

Finally, the First Look of Harris Jayaraj's world tour 'On The Edge' is out. The show will be directed by AL Vijay of 'Deiva Thirumagal' fame. It will start off at Mayajal in Chennai, on the East Coast Road (ECR) on October 2. 'On The Edge' will have Tamil cinema's favourite singers such as Karthik, Andrea and many others with international choreographers train dancers and singers in bringing out a great show. 7am Arivu audio in July: Harris

For the past few days there is no buzz on the audio release of Suriya’s most awaited film 7am Arivu. But latest we hear from Harris is that the music of the film will be launched by end of July.

So far there is lots of anxiety and suspense over the audio release but with the film’s music director himself revealing the details of the audio, what else given be expected more than this. The audio will be released by Sony Music into the market.

The album has total of 6 songs including a Chinese track. The Chinese song is the special attraction of the album which was sung by mandarin singer Hau. This particular song has sounds dating back to more than 2,000 years. Interesting isn’t it.

The audio launch will take place in a grand manner and the filmmakers are gearing up for the audio launch. Suriya will be performing nearly 10 astonishing feats live on stage along with some trained circus artistes which will be a special attraction of the audio launch.

Harris Jayraj tweeted- “7am Arivu will be launched by end of this month”.

OKOK shoot resumes from tomorrow!

The team of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi has taken a very short break before recommencing the next schedule as the director of the film has been to US for a family vacation. Now that the director Rajesh is back from US the shoot of the film is going to resume.

The shoot of OKOK is going to start from tomorrow in Mumbai. Udhayanidhi Stalin, Santhanam and the rest of the cast are joining the sets tomorrow in Mumbai. The film has completed majority of the shoot and just the songs and a few scenes are yet to be wrapped up. OKOK is a full length romantic and comedy entertainer which will appeal all sections of audiences. Hansika plays Udhayanidhi’s love interest in the film.

Harris Jayraj is scoring the music for this full length laughter riot while Balasubramaniam is handling cinematography. Udhayanidhi Stalin’s home production Red Giant Movies banner is producing the film.

KV Anand & Harris Jayaraj off to Rome!

Here is an update of Suriya’s Maatraan. Even before the commencement of the principle photography the film is popping up with some or the other updates.

The latest we hear is that director K V Anand and the film’s music director Harris Jayraj are in plans of boarding a Mediterranean Cruise, to compose songs for Maatran.

Maatran is an action packed romantic film which has Kajal Agarwal playing the heroine’s role. The pre production works are completed and the film is going to start from July 22nd in Chennai. As there is time for the film’s launch K V Anand and Harris are taking off to Rome to compose tunes. They will board Mediterranean Cruise, during which they will compose tunes for the film.

Harris Jayaraj is one lucky music composer who gets to travel to several exotic places for compositions.

The combination of K V Anand-Harris is surely something that fans are enthusiastically looking forward to in the Suriya-starrer Maatran.
