Actress Anuskha Sharma was detained at Mumbai international airport by the custom officials for possessing jewelleries and expensive watches without proper documentation.
The actress was returning from Toronto after attending the IIFA Awards ceremony. According to sources, she continued to be in the custom officials’ custody at the airport and her questioning was on. Sources said Anuskha Sharma was carrying jewelleries and watches worth about Rs 9 lakh.
Earlier, actresses Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba were also detained for separately at the Mumbai airport briefly for carrying unaccounted cash and jewellery last month. Both of them were let off after questioning.
