Ekta Kapoor’s ambitious film, ‘Dirty picture’ with Vidya Balan in the lead had to be stopped yesterday as the region of Telangana is observing two days of bandh.
Vidya Balan and Tusshar Kapoor were to do some intimate scenes for the film but the shoot is now likely to resume on July 7. Reportedly Ekta had to loose a whopping Rs 40 lakh due to shoot’s cancellation.
Before this, director Milan Luthria on June 3 had canned a rollicking item number on Vidya Balan, which is touted to be the lines of Sridevi’s number in Himmatwala.
Vidya and Tushar are both staying with in the vicinity of Ramoji Film City but they aren’t in a position to go out for shopping considering the circumstances.
Nasseruddin Shah and Emraan Haashmi are playing other key roles in Dirty Picture. The film is set to release on November 10, 2011.
