While all eyes are on Amala Paul post the success of Mynaa, the actress’s attention is on three of her forthcoming films- Dheiva Thirumagal, Vettai and Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal.
‘I am happy to be part of these three projects,’ says the actress in an interview, before throwing light on her roles in Dheiva Thirumagal, Vettai and Muppozhudhum Un Karpanagal.
“I play a stylish school correspondent in Dheiva Thirumagal. Cotton saris, a different hair-do and bindi helped. My thanks to director Vijay and co-star Vikram, who gave me great support,’ she says.
‘Vettai directed by Lingusamy is a laugh riot,’ she says and adds: ‘The film sees me in different avatars - as a village belle and in a glamorous get-up. Working with Aarya and Madhavan was a delight.’
On the other film, she says, ‘Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal opposite Atharva is in an urban setting. The role has a lot of shades to it, and there are similarities to the real me.’
