Aishwarya Dhanush, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, and Shruti Haasan, daughter of ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan, are coming together for the film titled 3. Incidentally, the film also marks the directorial debut of Aishwarya, who has assisted brother-in-law and director Selvaraghavan in the making of a couple of films including Aayirathil Oruvan.
Aishwarya directs her husband and actor Dhanush in 3 and has cast her close friend Shruti as the heroine opposite Dhanush. The film’s advertisements and stills showing Dhanush and Shruti together, which appear in the print media, have already created a buzz in the industry.
Both Kamal and Rajini are living legends of Tamil cinema. As such, the coming together of their siblings is seen with great interests by those within and outside the film industry. On their party, both Shruti and Aishwarya are hoping that their fathers would visit them at the shooting spot to encourage them but sadly that hasn’t happened so far.
Even the crew of the film is waiting with bated breath as the visit of Rajini and Kamal to the sets would provide them a rare opportunity to see both the legends at close quarters. It remains to be seen when Rajini, taking rest for the past 70 days after returning from Singapore, and Kamal, who is busy with the making of Viswaroopam, would find time to visit their respective daughters!
