A string of mobile apps on iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows Platform have been developed for National Award winning actor Vikram now. Interestingly, Vikram is the first actor in India to have an app on all mobile platforms. Other than him, Telugu star Mahesh Babu has a mobile application available only in iPads. This app will also act as a platform for Vikram to interact and engage his fans with exclusive photographs, interviews and songs. This five time Filmfare award winner has also received an Honorary Doctorate from People's University of Milan, Italy. He was also announced as the Youth Envoy of United Nations Habitat, a United Nations Human Settlement Programme for the Asian Contingent in April 2011.
