Silambarasan and national award winner Vetrimaran, who have tasted success with their respective films Vaanam andAadukalam in 2011, are teaming up forVada Chennai. The filmmaker has reportedly approached the actor for the upcoming Tamil film.
Sources say that Vetrimaran is keen to cast Silambarasan in the lead role. It also adds that the filmmaker has two other actors in mind, if Simbu turns down the offer. However, the filmmaker refused to comment on the rumours of him offering a role for the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa star. But he claimed that he is yet to finish the script.
He further adds that he is planning to approach a big star for the cameo in forthcoming film Vada Chennai. The movie is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri on the banner Cloud Nine Movies.
