Director Shakun Batra and producer Karan Johar have decided to release their untitled film with Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead days before Valentine’s Day thus giving a build up to the occasion.
The film, which was initially titled as Short Term Shaadi was slated to release during October but with Kareena having Ra.One in the same month, the makers of the film decided it’s better to postpone it to some other month before deciding February 2012..
Add to it, Imran’s Meri Brother Ki Dulhan with YRF is also releasing in September considering he had a recent release Delhi Belly. So with two big stars, Dharma thought that it is better that audience will have a fresh look of theirs in 2012 before deciding to postpone it to February coinciding with days before V- Day.
And this would be the first time that both Kareena and Imran will have a release on the eve of Valentine’s Day. While Imran is happy that he’s got some breather, Karan Johar is going through a title problem. Hope you have a title pretty soon Karan.
