
‘Post Veyyil, many meaty offers from Mollywood knocked my doors and I was busy doing them. I always wanted to mark my presence in Tamil and am happy that Sengaathu Boomiyile happened,’ she says.
‘I play a village girl in the movie which is a touching tale. It is a meaty role and I am happy to be part of such a promising project,’ she says, adding: ‘I am eagerly looking forward for more such roles.’
Sengaathu Bhoomiyile is a film that is being directed by Rathna Kumar. The director, who is also in-charge of the story, screenplay and dialogues, says that when the film was screened for maestro Ilayaraja he had tears in his eyes when watching the climax.
